We must listen to the land and answer with action.
Behind the Photographer
Rooted in the wetlands of Louisiana, Madalynne Meeker carries the memory of water wherever she goes. Her lens traces the quiet conversations between wildlife and the landscapes they call home, calling attention to stories of resilience, loss, and renewal. Guided by both science and hope, she works to document and protect the delicate balance between species and their habitats. Each image becomes an act of preservation and remembrance, but most importantly: a call to safeguard what remains.

She tries her best to disrupt her subjects as little as possible and prioritizes the welfare of the animal and the environment.
Ethics in Nature Photography
Keep Wild Animals WILD
The heart of my work lies in reverence for the wild, for its creatures, and for the fragile balance that sustains them. I photograph nature not only to witness its beauty, but to educate, encourage conversations, and inspire action that protects it. Every aspect of my practice must reflect my promise to honor the integrity of all wild life.
